Terms and Conditions

The agreement between SOAKD Exterior Cleaning and anyone using this website, requesting a quote, downloading a guide, or engaging us for service.

Last updated: 20 April 2026

1. About these terms

This website and the services described on it are operated by SOAKD EXTERIOR CLEANING SOLUTIONS PTY LIMITED (ABN 92 684 478 626) (SOAKD, we, us, our). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of soakdexteriorcleaning.com.au, any guides, checklists or playbooks you download from us, and any services we perform for you.

By using this website, submitting a form, downloading a guide, requesting a quote or engaging us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or engage us.

We may update these terms at any time. Any change takes effect from the date published at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Our services

SOAKD provides exterior cleaning services including softwash roof cleaning, high-pressure cleaning, house and building washing, window cleaning, gutter and downpipe cleaning, solar panel cleaning and scheduled maintenance programs, primarily across Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.

All service descriptions on this website are general. The specific scope of any job is defined in the written quote accepted by the customer. If there is any inconsistency between this website and a written quote, the quote prevails.

3. Quotes, bookings and pricing

3.1 Quotes

All quotes are prepared based on information provided by the customer and, where practical, a site walkthrough. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Prices shown on this website, in guides, or in generic marketing are indicative only and do not constitute a quote.

3.2 Variations

If site conditions differ materially from what was described or observed at quoting, we will contact you to discuss a variation before proceeding. You are not liable for variations unless agreed in writing.

3.3 Payment terms

Payment terms are stated on each quote and tax invoice. Standard terms are payment in full within 7 days of completion for residential work and 14 days from invoice date for commercial and scheduled-maintenance work. Late payments may incur interest at 2% above the Reserve Bank of Australia cash rate, calculated daily, and recovery costs may be passed on.

4. Promotional offers, credits and vouchers

From time to time SOAKD publishes promotional credits or onboarding offers, including through downloadable guides and checklists. The following terms apply to every SOAKD credit or voucher offer unless the offer itself states otherwise:

  • Credits apply to the customer's first qualifying SOAKD service after the offer is claimed, and are not redeemable for cash.
  • Credits are not transferable and cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or trade accounts unless expressly stated.
  • Unless stated otherwise, a maximum of one credit per ABN applies for commercial and strata offers and one credit per property address for residential offers.
  • Credits apply only to services SOAKD would ordinarily perform inside our standard service area. Jobs outside the standard service area may be quoted with additional travel charges and the credit may not apply.
  • SOAKD may withdraw, pause, or vary any offer at any time. Offers claimed before a withdrawal will still be honoured within their stated expiry.
  • All dollar amounts are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Where an offer has an expiry window, the window starts on the date of the consultation or walkthrough (not the date of download) unless the offer specifies otherwise. A credit is applied only when the qualifying service is booked inside the window.

4.1 Current voucher offers (as referenced in SOAKD guides)

The following onboarding credits are currently available. Each is subject to the general terms above.

  • Contractor Consolidation Consultation - $250 onboarding credit applied to your first quarterly service when consolidating three or more exterior contractors. Valid 30 days from consultation date. One credit per ABN.
  • 5-Year Maintenance Outlook Consultation - 10% onboarding credit on your first 12 months of structured maintenance. Figures discussed at consultation are indicative and subject to annual review. Credit valid 30 days from consultation date. One credit per ABN.
  • SOAKD Site Walkthrough (Slip Hazard Self-Assessment follow-up) - $150 credit applied to your first service when booked within 14 days of walkthrough. The walkthrough is a SOAKD site visit, not a professional WHS or AS/NZS 4663 slip-resistance audit. One credit per ABN.
  • Builder Onboarding Consultation - $75 credit per handover clean when booked 14 days in advance of the required handover date, with ongoing builder pricing unlocked after the first three completed jobs. One credit per ABN.
  • Coastal Property Walkthrough - $100 credit applied to your first Softwash or House Wash service when scheduled within 14 days of walkthrough. The walkthrough is not a corrosion, structural, or engineering assessment. One credit per property address.

5. Downloadable guides and educational content

The guides, checklists and playbooks available from this website are free educational resources. They are general information only and do not constitute legal, financial, engineering, or work-health-and-safety advice. Statutory references reflect the law of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia as at the date shown on each guide. Law changes over time.

The Slip Hazard Self-Assessment Checklist is explicitly not a professional WHS audit or slip-resistance audit. Always consult a qualified WHS professional before acting on findings.

Cost figures and ranges shown in the 5-Year Maintenance Cost Comparison Guide are illustrative and drawn from published industry research. Actual costs vary by property, service scope, and market conditions. The guide does not constitute financial advice or a quote.

6. Your obligations

When engaging SOAKD you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work site, accurate information about the property and any known hazards, and timely responses to scope or scheduling queries. You must disclose any known structural, roofing, rendering, coating, solar-panel, or electrical issues that could affect service delivery or safety.

7. Work health and safety

SOAKD carries current public liability insurance and workers compensation insurance and provides Safe Work Method Statements for jobs involving work at heights, confined spaces, or other elevated-risk activities. SOAKD's WHS arrangements apply to SOAKD personnel only. Site controllers, builders, property managers, and strata committees retain their own duties under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW).

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SOAKD's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with a service is limited to the fee paid for that service.
  • SOAKD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business opportunity.
  • SOAKD is not liable for pre-existing damage, latent defects, degraded coatings or surfaces beyond their serviceable life, or damage caused by undisclosed site conditions.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by law. Where a consumer guarantee applies and the service is not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

9. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may reschedule a booked service at no cost with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or reschedules inside 48 hours may incur a call-out fee of up to $150 to cover committed crew time. Services cancelled due to weather, site access, or safety grounds are rescheduled at no cost.

10. Intellectual property

The SOAKD brand, logos, website copy, downloadable guides, checklists, playbooks, worksheets, before-and-after imagery, and the underlying design and layout are owned by or licensed to SOAKD EXTERIOR CLEANING SOLUTIONS PTY LIMITED. You may download and use the guides for internal, non-commercial purposes within your business or household. You may not republish, rebrand, resell, modify, or represent SOAKD content as your own.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
